Myanmar 2017
In January and February, I returned to Myanmar.
This time I visited four cities. The first city I spent some time in was Yangon, where we had a special day to celebrate the start of 'Ministry To Silenced Women, Myanmar'.
While in Yangon, I held a seminar again on biblical equality for men and women. We had a wonderful time together. For many of the people this was the first time they had heard this teaching.
I spoke at a house church while in Yangon. The teenagers sang a lovely worshipful song.
I returned to Lashio for a seminar on biblical equality for men and women, where I had a wonderful time with the believers.
While in Lashio I spoke at the Shan Bible School, encouraging the students from the lives of Gideon and Esther.
I returned to Tachileik and again held a two-day seminar on biblical equality for men and women.
I spoke at a church service in Tachileik.
The children led us in a lovely worshipful song.
I went to visit a village outside Tachileik where the homes are on stilts.
I visited Myintkyina for the first time to hold a seminar on biblical equality for men and women. The teaching was very well received.
I had the opportunity to encourage the believers in Myintkyina during the Sunday morning service, speaking to them on Elijah.
I took a walk on one of the beaches near Myintkyina before returning to Yangon.
